Thanks, could of warned me though, as the shock has made me go all Funny-er than normal... :o)
I just thank my god daily that he feels fit to keep me walking and mobile, after my accident i was told that i would probably end up in a wheelchair or have to have my spine cemented up within 5 years, its now 18 years and although some days are really bad and i could just lay down and cry the good days are good and keep me going, photography has played a massive roll in keeping me going also, going places, pushing myself into places just to get the picture, funny sometimes as my friends are normally Screaming get down from there your insane you nutter...
AHA! So my diagnosis was right after all!
Yes, your health is everything, isn't it? I'm sorry you have a lot of pain, Mike. Life is hard.
Life is hard Dezzie, today is a good day, I have been high in the welsh mountains Beautiful place, :O)
I am jealous. Very, very jealous. One day I might get there. What's the tallest mountain in Wales and how high is it?
Snowdon is the tallest mountain in Wales, here have a read..i was only a stones throw away from it yesterday.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowdon
Beautiful country, really! The views are spectacular.
Some compare it to New Zealand, i likes it anyways, wild and mostly untouched, mind you me likes Oztralia too, :O)
Everywhere has beauty. But the essence has a different felling to other places.
It does indeed, many parts of England are beautiful, Devon,Cornwall, are said to be nice i have yet to venture down there yet, Scotland i like with its Lochs and mountains, Its Whiskey is darn good too, I also like Ireland and try to get there now and then just to sample the un travelled Guinness Nom Nom,,,Oh and the music, the friendly people :O)
The distances are so small, I'd be tripping all over the place to see everything! I'd like to see Ireland. I knew an Australian family who emigrated there, because they thought it was so beautiful.
It really is beautiful, and the people are so friendly, welcoming is the word, and the sights to see are really lovely, southern Ireland is so laid back and as pretty as a post card...Dublin is my favourite place, right next to the Guinness factory Ahhhh!
New Zealand is also beautiful.
Have you been there, it looks a fantastic place green and fertile and great sheep?
No, but my son and his partner went there for four days a couple of years ago. They stayed in Christchurch for a day, then on to Queenstown. He thought it was so beautiful he wanted to live there. Not after the earthquake, though.
Be honest with you Dezzie, i would live away from England at the drop of a hat, Taxed to death here, tax on everything you can think of, even talking about supertaxing unhealthy foods, i really am tired of the nonsense now, need a holiday i think and some running shoes ?
And a cut lunch, remember. It'll take you the best part of a day to get around Australia.
Well, looking at my atlas Oztralia is a thumb and a bit long by half a knuckle wide so that makes it about errr,,,errr,,,,yeah about twice as big as Ireland maybe abit more, so yeah a packed lunch it is then,,,,
And a drink. You can't always find water. Oh, and a umbrella for the drop bears.
I,ll bring a bottle or two of Guinness, that should see me through, and me push bike gotta have transport aint ya .
Well, if you want to see both sides of it inna same day.
Yeah cuz i want to see that bit that looks like a doggies ear,, whats it called oh yeah cape tribulation looks like i could have a paddle up there,,you know just to cool me peddles down a bit!
The swishin' of the crocodile tails creates a coolin' breeze. Generally when they're running to snack on yer peddles.
? ,,,, Crocodiles,,,? you never mentioned those before, well if i take a bag of chewy welsh toffee i could chuck some in its gob and hey presto jawlock ! i,ll be safe as houses..
Yeah...about those houses...none up that way, Mikey. I think we'd best have a little talk about the - er - slight disadvantages of your cyclin' tour of Oz. Have you hever seed a scorpion, Mikey? Or a centipede? Or a taipan? No - not a frypan, Mikey, a TAIPAN! Funnelweb spider? King brown snake? Trapdoor spider? Blue ringed octopus? Stonefish? Death adder? Red-bellied black snake? Box jellyfish? Ever had dengue fever or Ross River fever from a mossie bite, Mikey? Ever stepped onna cane toad inna dark? Or a twenty foot freshwater croc? Did you know they gallop, Mikey? GALLOP??!!
