Anyone know what kind of bird this is?

I took the photo in May in suburban Denver. It also had yellow legs that you can't see in the photo... :)
Why don't you try using the new Google image search? If you have the thumbnail, you can click and drag it into the seach box on Google images, and it will locate similar images. It may not work, but I've been trying to find it with descriptions for a while, and all I can say is it looks, in shape, a bit like a moorhen. Did it have big feet?
Yeah I'll give that a whirl, thanks! One opinion I've had on it is that a domestic goose like a Chinese goose got out and mated with the wild geese and this is the offspring. It had yellow ducky feet.

It looks a little like a bean goose - maybe a juvenile? Probably not, but the shape is right.
I found it. It's called a Sora, and it's a rail. You must not have seen its feet clearly, as they have those big feet with long toes, but they are yellow. Here is a link, and you can see by the feathers and mask that it's the same bird.

I can sleep tonight. I couldn't stop looking for the darn thing until i found it! LOL.
Oh my gosh, thank you so much!!! I never would have found it, and no I really didn't get a very good look at its feet since they were in the water. Yeah, been planning on painting it so long as I could get a slightly better idea of what they look like since my photo wasn't so great. Yep, should be able to start shortly now! :)
