I have whiter than white pinky blotchy skin and freckles. I am completely unsuitable for the Antipodes. Maybe we'll have to swap.
Well thats strange,,Gingers normally have that colouring and your hair is a bit black to be ginger init ??
Aha! Black and white photos are deceptive! No, I'm not ginger. In fact, I'm dark blonde. But the truth is that these days I'm grey - hardly any colour at all. I don't want to dye my hair. I'm too lazy, and I hate the mess and smell. I used to, but got very tired of it. And I don't have to please anyone else, so if i want to be a fugly, I'm free!
My mother had black hair and very olive skin (her father was Irish), but my dad had brown hair and freckles. My sisters and I all turned out very different from each other pigmentation-wise. And we don't look alike. but I'm the spitting image of my father. Shame. My mother was the pretty one! LOL
Im grey,,well my hair like you is almost grey i was blonde every one thought i was German or Finnish because of my colouring and muscular build,,sadly not so much now though,,although my mother did use to sing in German when i was young, i never have asked her why, oh im rambling again,,,,any ways myself and my sister Jayne are almost like twins same hair eye skin colouring only i got a beard and she shaves hers off :O)
LOL She'll kill you if she reads this.
I regarded myself as having light brown hair until hairdressers told me otherwise. I actually had beautiful hair when i was young. Thick, wavy and glossy. I didn't realise it until I got older, though. When I had my son, it was really long, but I cut it all off after getting caught in the wind at traffic lights when he was a baby. I had him in one arm, and had to hold all my hair up with the other to cross. I'd had enough. My head felt about 10 pounds lighter afterwards, though. Now it's too short.
Ha ha my sissy is a wonderful gurl my 3 sisters are all wonderful gurls they know me and my twisted sense of humour bless them, I can see you are a stunner on you avatar image, i bet ya poor old dad had to fight the lads away from his front door :O)
Oh, no - not at all. I was never pretty. Reasonable, yes, but never pretty. I had nice eyes and if I wore mascara they looked good. The rest of the face was a bit ordinary. One of my sisters was stunning. She is in her 60s now, but as a young thing, she really turned heads. She didn't need makeup. My mother was extremely pretty, too. But as I said, I look like my father! LOL No-one had to guard the front door. I was quite safe...
Dezzie beauty is only skin deep, but i think you are pretty in your avatar, thing is you never think yourself pretty unless your a movie star :O)
Well, thank you, Mike. Now today is my birthday, and to celebrate, I'm going to work. I like to live on the edge! LOL
Ah Happy Birthday Dezzie hope you have a great day at work ,,,,,just dont sound right you Workaholic you :O)
It wasn't right, but it had to be done.
My next door neighbour popped in this morning. She is going away for a week, and she had this huge bunch of flowers that someone had given her - lillies and carnations mostly. She said they would all be dead when she got back and she wondered if I would like them. I was delighted. But I didn't have a vase big enough. You'll laugh, but I've had to put them in my blender! LOL So I got amazing flowers for my birthday. I have to go away, too, but hopefully only for a couple of nights. And there are a lot of buds, so hopefully they'll last a while.
Dezzie gurl you are a star,,i cant think of anyone else who would even think of putting a bouquet of flowers in a blender,,ah dear me, you dun half make me laff... :O)
The jug on it was the only thing big enough - they're monstously big - and beautiful, too. They all survived - a bit of sugar in the water is how you do it - and the buds have mostly all opened. I can't get a photo good enough to justify how pretty they are. I just have to remember - don't turn on the blender...
Ah oooh dear me, you didnt think 'struth i,ll pop down the shop an buy anice BIG vase,,,NO, where's the blender,,,:O) what a star you Oztralian gurls are just so different to these ere pommy things we got :O)
