Color profile of a picture

If it is possible, I would like to know if embeded color profiles are preserved when uploading RGB .jpg file.
I am inclined do embed AdobeRGB profile to jpg files, rather than converting it to sRGB - because of wider gamut of colors. But if embeded profile is not preserved, it seem so me that better solution is converting to sRGB.
So i'm looking for a little advice on what approach should i take in preparing files for upload to rgbstock.

The full size photos are just as you uploaded them. We don't make any changes to the original file(s).
We create thumbnail images of 100px, 300px and 600px wide. Those small image do not have a adobeRGB profile.
