Well its that time of year again, the photography shops are full to the britches with sparkly new cameras with more pixels and wonder gadgetry than you can wave a stick at, I am looking for a new camera but dont want to have a wheelbarrow to carry it around, I have been looking closely at the Panasonic G3 amazed at the size and control this camera seems to have, yet i am concerned that the iso settings only goes down to 160iso,,,,that i feel is rather high as my little fuji and Big Nikon go down much lower around 80iso with the fuji and 100iso with the Nikon,,,I can hear you all saying OMG he's rambling again, BUT i would love to hear your opinions on the many cameras that are on the market at the moment.
Oh, not TV, thanks. In Brisbane, I have been watching TV in the motels. I can't believe what noise and rubbish people put into their heads. Seriously. Rubbish in, rubbish out - it's a law of life.
I got to the stage where I wasn't enjoying it, was wasting time, and the noise was really annoying. It was a relief to turn it off. You don't realise how much peace there is without a telly until you don't have one. I am thinking that I might not get one even if I moved.
OMG,,,no Telly,,,,Dont tell me you read,,,,,,,Books n stuff yawn,,,,ahhh yawn :O)
Sadly, yes - although mostly online these days. I went through a time when my eyesight was really bad and I couldn't read much (that was a trial at work!), but now it's a bit better. I like some shows as light relief. I used to LOVE the IT Crowd and Dr Who. I get into the shows, but they make me feel worn out after a while, and I relish the silence. I never know just how much until recently.
You not reedin that book thats a BIG hit in UKland at the moment are ya,,Fifty shades of grey is called :O)
No, I never read novels any more. Just non-fiction. Boring, hey? I love Terry Pratchett, but I haven't read any of his books for years. I just don't have the concentration any more.
I can only read something that interests me or is educational, I have read hundreds of photography books over the years enough to realise that most books steal content from another book, I still read camera magazines to keep up with whats new, boring or what, I also read wildlife books like the owl and the pussy cat :O)
I can't afford the decent mags, but when I was in hospital my son bought me a few photography ones. Very nice, too.
I'm looking for a couple of books that are old. One is by someone with the surname Paris, and I think it's called, "Repent or Die". It's about the Ustazi in WW2. And there's another one I heard of tonight that I really want - and the name escapes me, but I've saved it somewhere. It's by a Dutch journalist who worked in the US and he predicted the slaughter of the Jews by Hitler at a time when the US was calling Hitler comical and not taking him seriously. He wrote another one, too, that interests me.
Have the got pictures in,,,,,,i cant read a book without pictures init,, oh no!!!
Yes, they has. Juss like Dr Seuss.
That was a strange book,,,,,so was that cat in a hat book :O(
I used to like Dr Seuss. Green eggs and ham.
What's happened to green eggs? when i was a puppy in school they often produced a green egg or two, they tasted ok, you just dont see them now do you :O) ??
I have never seen a green chook egg. Pheasant shells, yes. But if you mean the egg itself, I'm not sure I could eat it. It was all I could do to taste a pheasant egg, let alone anything else. If you mean shells, I imagine various coloured hens might produce other colours, but I really haven't seen them.
Yeah i have eaten green eggs, actually green, they tasted a little stronger but if you like eggs they are nice :O)
Hey Dezzie, Have you noticed that you can not leave a comment on your own image now ? difficult if someone asks a question about the image, it was easier to reply via a own comment than to reply via contacting member,,, What you think ???
Yes, I would prefer to be able to respond in the comments. Others have said that as well. At least we can use the contact thingy.
Ah well, I,ll just have to use the contact thingy then, slow laborious thingamajig :O)
Only Pomgolians have thingamajigs. In this far-flung land we have thingies. Given as 'ow we carnt spell good.
Ha ha ha Yeah, when i was in skool the word Average really annoyed me, Well and my parents :O)
But that didn't stop you spellin' a multi-syl - er - multiblesyl - er - long word in that tother post, diddit? I think you're a cloaked genius. At least when you bother to wear clothes.
Well your so kind Dezzie, i am a jeanious, i no lots of long wurds like wheelbarrow and impetigo, I tell you since ive had a body wax i feel the cold something terrible :O(
Now what did you go an' do that for? You're not pole dancin' again, are you?
You knows i love me pole dancin, rubbing the goose fat over me body first just to stop me friction burns, i,ll see if i can put some photos on for you :O)
That poor goose hates it when you do that!
I dont Know,, I think i seen a smile in her bill last week :O)
