Ahhh its easy with a bit of practise,,,I stay supple cuz i practice Yogi every day..
Ah, we are alike, then! I practice the pick-i-nick basket every day!
Do you Boo Boo, so do i .....
I'm picnicking right now, 'smatter of fact. Leftovers of an unknown vintage. I looked in my freezer, and they were in the depths. Must be months old, as I don't remember them. Sort of vegetarian stew. With gluten steaks. (Not real ones.)
OOOO000000ooooooooooAghhhh, you eat alone a lot then do you dezzie humm!!
Well, it WOZ froze! They say you c'n eat them mammoths when they is dug up, they is so fresh.
Yeah and i,ll leave that to Fred and Barney.....
I might get a bit queasy later. I think it was okay. Quite enjoyed it, really.
Mmm, sounded scary to be honest dezzie gurl...fresh is a word i like fresh!!!
Yeah, but you have to freeze things like leftovers or they won't keep. I eat a lot of frozen meals. I always cook up a big batch, then I can just thaw something for tea when I get home from work. I hate cooking at night. I should just have fruit for the evening meal. Makes sense in many ways.
Anyway, I ate too much, so I think that's what's making me a bit iffy.
Yeah but Dezzie,,,the goodness is taken out when you freezes it, you needs your goodness all the times,,,vitmins thats wot you has t have every day..
Rubbish. Frozen veges have as many vitamins as fresh - often more, if the fresh are shipped long distances, which they often are in this country. Freezing or canning food keeps the nutrition. As long as it's snap frozen, or canned close to harvest. The B and C vitamins are water soluble, so you can lose some of them in the blanching process, but not too many.
Now, the flavour is lost in freezing, I'll agree. I don't like the flavour of frozen veggies. But you could live a healthy life on them, honestly.
A life on frozen veggies??? Is that LIFE?!?
Pass me another sausage, Mike.
Yes. But you stick with your pig bowels and nasty bits. It's a free country.
I usually eat fresh stuff, but if I'm home late from work: half a large packet of mixed frozen veg (cauliflower, broccoli, capsicum and carrots, and sometimes I'll add some brussel sprouts), a diced onion and some garlic - or powder if I'm lazy - all cooked up, with some spicy low salt peanut satay mix from a jar (Yakandandah is a local firm that makes one to die for), plus lots of tinned coconut milk. Throw through a packet of whole wheat wok-ready noodles, and it's all done in about 20 minutes. Enough for two meals, so I don't have to cook at all the night I finish it.
Ah bless her, our dezzies only gone and got out the wheat wok ready noodles and coconut milk in defence, come ere dezzie let me give you a BIG cuddle, Look Kevin, if our dezzie wants to eat rabbit food let no men stand a sunder ,, Brown sauce with that Sausage Kevin ??
Vegetarians live ten years longer than omnivores. I rest my case.
Whats in your case?
Not sausages.
I just had the most delicious fruit salad. Oodles of watermelon, navel orange, banana, and an R2E2 mango. I don't normally like those mangoes as much as Kensington Pride - which isn't really sold much overseas, it seems - but this one was just barely ripe, and to die for! I had a quick read about mangoes and it seems Australians eat most of their Kensington Prides as they are difficult to handle. What you guys are missing out on! Smooth, sweet and tangy flesh - bliss! But I guess there are other varieties that taste good, too. The absolute queen of fruit, mangoes! Well, apart from a nice custard apple - now there's a fruit to die for.
I think I'm enjoying my food. Sorry.
Aye,,,and not sharing it neither,,,,
I throwed some at the screen. Didja get it?
mmmm, yeah everything except the Kensington prides......tight or what ???
Nah, dinnet have one of those.
This morning Hyme 'avin' fried begetavles wif aforementioned Yakandandah peanut satay. Heye yam almost in bliss.
Phfff, you spoil yourself all the times,, peanut satay,,,have you no bounds to your spoiltfullness .....
