practise makes perfect, very very much a lot of practise. :-)

BTW. Thanks for fiddle-leaved fig info, Cris.
That kind of fig plant has always been a favorite of mine although I never had one. That's how I knew what they were called.
I saw that foul in the news the other day. That ref must be as blind as I am :)

The illusion was clever. There are a lot of similar illusions these days. I can't imagine sitting down and thinking up the concept, let alone doing it.
The Google stuff was great.

Damian Aspinall runs a foundation dedicated to reintroducing captive gorillas into the wild. Aspinall raised a gorilla named Kwibi in England. At five, Kwibi was brought back to Africa. Five years later, Aspinall returned to find Kwibi. Would he remember Aspinall? Would he attack? See their meeting for yourself. It's magical.
Fabulous video, Cris!

A Smoggy Day in Old L.A. (song)
Playing 'The Machine'
"The Machine" is an intimidating contraption. It's a mass of cowbells, drums, xylophone keys and old-fashioned car horns. It's the work of inventor and musician Llyn Foulkes. And he's probably the only person in the world who could play it. Surprisingly, it sounds great. Hear Foulkes play his song "A Smoggy Day in Old LA."

It's a bear that knows martial arts. Where else are you going to see that? Well, you could visit the Asa Zoo in Hiroshima, Japan. There you can meet a bear named Cloud. If you're lucky, he'll put on a show like this.
You won't believe it when you see it.

The greatest invention yet
Some inventions seem completely ridiculous. But maybe they've just come before their time. Eventually, they could be seen as strokes of genius. Take the mouse, for example. What if it had been invented before the computer? What would people think of it? Let the comedy duo Mitchell and Webb answer that for you.
