Firstly, the ants only bite humans sometimes - and they aren't everywhere. You still haven't seen the bull ants, have you? The largest one I ever saw would have been about an inch and a half in length, standing about three quarters of an inch in height. These ants watch you. They know exactly what you are, and they will turn to face you to fight back. Amazing creatures, and very intelligent. They remind me of preying mantis' - they also watch you - even the small ones.
I replied to this, but the reply isn't here. Oh, well -

And the turkey baster might never be included in the orchestral pit. What if you wanted to hit a really high note? You'd have to pull out an eyedropper.
Crikey, that's one heck of an ant! Are their bites (stings) poisonous like a bullet ant?
When I was a child in Toowoomba, we had green ants - black, with dark green rear ends - which would give you a painful bite, and the welt would be sore for a couple of days. Nasty things, but you learn to keep away from them.

I thought I should show you the latest evolution in our kangaroo population, too, Cris. They are giving the drop bears a run for their money.
I think you're lion. You just made that up so I wouldn't come calling. There's already enough critters there to make me cancel my trip.
Yeah, but I haven't swept my floors, and I didn't want you to know.
Critters can't be swept away for good. They just keep crawling back.
Or slithering. Don't forget slithering.
Seniors discover a webcam
An older couple bought a new computer and decided to experiment with the built-in Web. They unknowingly pressed record, and the resulting video has ended up online. It's so funny!

Here is a song that I used to love as a kid:

There were no televisions where I lived, and the song doesn't say it was a piano, and I think that was the funniest part - not knowing what this thing was.

Oh, yes, Cris often used to send me links to those. They are so true!
Marvelously well observed, this crazy behavior of cats. We also love the sound effects.
They're such great cartoons. Are they ever on TV?
We have seen at least one of these presented in a show about cats on German TV.
