There's another German phrase "Mit der Dummheit kaempfen Goetter selbst vergebens" :Against stupidity the gods themselves battle in vain. It doesn't really have much to do with the topic, but if everyone else is quoting foreign languages .....
And it's no coincidence that "Schadenfreude" is a German word.

Well buy a new tongue at the local butcher. They seem to have tonque there. Dunno if it's attachable though
