Proud, Father of the Bride' this week!!... and I did the CN Tower, Toronto 'Edge Walk' with my other daughter. Both, 'Top of the World' experiences!
Wow! That's certainly a week that I can't top! Congratulations on both! :o)
Thanks Dez... The pics of both days are amazing, though I gather a touch too personal to share with the world!! My week's been a tad busy in a wonderful way... family is so'o'o precious and I am so'o'o blessed as a father!!
I'm sure your children feel the same way about you. Sometimes it's so nice to bask in the good times, isn't it?
I have been lucky this week. I bought a house - or, more rightly, a mortgage. I'm as old as dirt, so this is going to be a bit of an adventure and a challenge. So I feel blessed, too, but for something a lot less important than family.
I just enjoyed an exciting week in County Kerry. I want to go back because there is so much I didn't get to see.
Was it a fun trip, Lynne? And is it as beautiful as it looks in the photos?
It was a trip I intend to repeat some time in the not too distant future. And those photos don't do the place anywhere near enough justice. The beauty of the place is breathtaking.
I had heard Ireland is stunning. I know an Australian family who emigrated there after they fell in love with it. Glad you had a great time.
@5,7. Glad you had a good time Lynne! I went to western Ireland some years ago - before the advent of digital photography unfortunately - and thought it was stunning. I want to go back too! Especially to the Burren and the cliffs of Mohir.
The sea cliffs on Achill Island in Co. Mayo are spectacular too. As is the cliff road. I was fortunate enough to see a basking shark swimming just off shore on the approach to Keem bay.
The Burren is on my places to visit list. As is Donegal.
sxc.hu is down. Down for maintenance as they say.
Of course there is a great alternative: www.rgbstock.com :)
This week my house purchase was finally settled. There is a lot of work ahead, but I am really excited to be moving into my own place at last. I took the first few items over yesterday, and I am beginning to feel that it's mine. :o)
There's nothing quite like owning your own place. I was really excited the day I picked up the key to my first house.
Enjoy your new space, Dez.
Thanks, Lynne.
